The Durham Regional Police K-9 Unit is celebrating International Dog Day and the canine officers that bring criminals to heel in the region.
In 2023, the K-9 Unit located 40 pieces of evidence and found 80 people.
“Thank-you for your service,” was the message from DRPS, “and all you do to keep the residents of Durham Region safe.”
