Durham Police still looking for witnesses after shots fired on Oshawa residential street

Durham Police are still searching for witnesses after shots were fired Saturday afternoon on a residential street near Simcoe Street and Highway 401.

Police say a dark pick-up truck or SUV was seen leaving the area of Simcoe and Hall Street (across from the Tim Horton’s) shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday. Multiple shots were fired, and officers were able find shell casings.

Two vehicles and a residence were damaged in the shootings. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with home security or dash-cam video at the above location, or anyone with new information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Woolley of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2732.
