Durham Region hosting municipal election candidate information session in Whitby

Thinking about running for city council this fall?

Get the straight goods April 13 at an information session hosted by Durham Region, in partnership with the local municipalities and the provincial Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

The session, for those interested in running for municipal council or school board or plan to register as a third-party advertiser, will be held at the Region of Durham headquarters at 605 Rossland Road East (Whitby Meeting Room LL-C) from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 13.

The session, which will include a presentation by a Municipal Affairs and Housing representative, will give you the information you need to be an informed election participant.
