Durham reports 27 new COVID-19 cases – ten from Oshawa

Durham Region reported 27 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday after averaging more than 41 per day the previous four days.

Ten of the new cases are from Oshawa.

There are nine Durham residents in hospital with four in ICU, with 205 active cases of the virus.

The number of reported cases of the Delta variant since it was first identified in the region stands at 356.

More than seventy-five per cent of the 12-plus population of Durham is now fully vaccinated.
