Early morning shooting and police chase leads to three arrested in Oshawa

Charges are pending for three males who were arrested following a shooting and a police chase in Oshawa.

Durham Regional Police say shots rang out around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday (July 27) in the area of Equestrian Cres. and Windfields Farm Dr. West in Oshawa.

No injuries were reported and police received multiple calls about the gunshots, with witnesses telling investigators they saw a black sedan flee from the scene.

Police say there was a chase and three males were arrested. A stolen vehicle was also recovered, police say. No charges have yet been laid and police have not disclosed the identity of the suspects.
