Chevrolet Silverado EV, to be made at GM's Orion plant in Michigan

General Motors, fresh off an industry-leading 2023, will be bringing a stacked lineup of cars – including nine electric vehicles – to the Canadian International Auto Show, on until Feb. 25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The EV lineup will feature the Cadillac LYRIQ and Escalade, and Chevrolet models Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Corvette E-Ray and Silverado EV. Chevy will also showcase its ‘ZRE Overlanding Zone,’ with the Silverado 1500 ZR2 and 2500 ZR2 Bison and the Colorado ZR2, all equipped with off-road accessories.

Oshawa Assembly produces both the 1500 and HD models of the Silverado truck, but the off-road Bison versions are made at GM’s plant in Flint, Michigan.

For the first time, visitors to the show will also get a chance to take the GMC Hummer EV SUV and take it for a spin around the indoor electric test track.

The all-new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox and 2024 Chevrolet Traverse RS and the GMC Hummer EV Omega Edition SUV will all make their Canadian Auto Show debuts, while the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will be making its global introduction at the show.

Toronto FC legend and club ambassador Dwayne De Rosario will also be joining Chevrolet to kick off a new partnership with Major League Soccer and Toronto FC.
