Electronic monitor

Hanging out at a storage unit while wearing an electronic monitor (and in possession of multiple fake IDs) landed a Toronto man back in jail after he was arrested outside a Whitby storage facility – a breach of his release conditions.

Justin Senna Rafferty Neves, 30, is charged with a dozen counts of possession of identity documents and credit cards not his own, possession of methamphetamine and two counts of failing to comply with Release Order.

Durham Police were called to the storage facility near Watson Street and Harbour Street on Whitby’s waterfront Tuesday evening after Neves’ electronic monitor was breached. Neves was arrested at the scene and has been held for a bail hearing.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Cst. Arafat of Central West Division at 1-888-579-1520.
