Eric Lindros celebrity tournament VIP Draft Party tonight in Oshawa

If you ever dreamed of lacing up the skates with Toronto Maple Leaf legends like Wendel Clark, Eric Lindros, Al Iafrate or Dave Tiger Williams, tonight is your big chance.

The 10th Annual Eric Lindros Celebrity Hockey Classics Tournament VIP Draft Party is on tonight at the Oshawa Convention Centre at 67 Simcoe Street North with all hockey to be played Friday at Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby.

You don’t need to be a superstar to participate, as long as you can skate and know how to use a hockey stick, as well as having a passion for helping kids BE kids with the help of Easter Seals.

Participants can join a team or start their own and teams can add coaches or general managers – anyone who wants to be part of the team and help raise money for children and youth with disabilities across Ontario.

Only participants and sponsors of the event can attend the draft party.

The tournament features nearly a dozen ex-NHL stars who will be drafted onto teams, including Shayne Corson, Brad May, John Le Clair, Andre Roy, Mike Krushelynski, Brett Lindros and Kris King.

There will be 16 teams each playing a three-game format with all Covid-19 protocols in place.

The tournament has raised more than $2.6 million for Easter Seals.
