‘Everglades’ redevelopment coming to north Oshawa park

Everglades Park in north Oshawa is getting a makeover and the City wants to hear ideas from the public on preferred playground equipment and accessibility features.

The conceptual plan for Everglades Park, located at 365 Pompano Court, includes:

• a new playground with junior and senior play components
• a swing set
• shade structure and site furniture
• accessible pathways
• tree plantings

Residents are invited to provide their feedback by completing an online form at ConnectOshawa.ca/EvergladesPark) or on paper at Service Oshawa at City Hall.

Feedback will be received until noon on September 9 and will be considered in the selection of playground equipment and accessibility components of the site.
