A grocery chain that started as a produce stand in Cornwall 43 years ago will have 48 stores across the province March 14 when Farm Boy opens its newest location in Oshawa’s booming northeast.
The store will be the 19th Farm Boy in the GTA and the third in Durham Region, following store openings in Pickering and Whitby.
“We are delighted to expand our presence in the GTA and bring the Farm Boy experience to the vibrant community of Oshawa,” said Shawn Linton, President and General Manager. “This new location reflects our commitment to offering top-quality products at great value and exceptional customer service, while fostering a deep connection with local communities.”
Located at 1280 Clearbrook Drive at Wilson Rd. N. and Taunton Rd. E., the store will showcase Farm Boy’s signature offerings, including fresh produce, Canadian meats, local dairy, and a variety of popular Farm Boy private-label products. Gluten-free, plant-based, vegan and vegetarian options are also available, as well as hormone-free, organic beef, chicken and pork.
Farm Boy stores also feature a hot bar and salad bar selections, and local, international and Canadian cheeses.
