Fentanyl and cocaine seized in drug bust, 2 people face charges in Oshawa

Two people face charges after a drug bust netted fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine in Oshawa.

Police searched a home in the area of King Street East and Farewell Street in Oshawa on March 12, Durham Regional Police said in a press release.

Fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and cash were seized, police said.

Two people were taken into custody without incident.

Derek Impens, 40, of Oshawa is charged with numerous offences including possession of a cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Rachel Menton, 35, of no fixed address is charged with numerous offences including possession of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Impens was held for a bail hearing. Menton was released on a promise to appear in court.
