Final Tank Saturday of the season this weekend in Oshawa

The Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum final Tank Saturday of the season will bring visitors back to the Cold War this weekend with ARMAGEDDON!
The “knock-out finale you will not want to miss” features some of the largest main battle tanks in the Oshawa museum’s collection as the war machines produced for what was billed as ‘World War III’ are showcased.
The event also boasts a live battle re-enactment in the Tank Arena at 1 p.m.
The features of the day, which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., include:
- KIDZ ZONE with military themed activities and crafts
- Lunch and beverage service at the historic 420 WING
- Tour the Museum and learn about 200 years of Canadian military history
- Enter the Military Vehicle Conservation Centre Hangar to see more than 50 machines on display
- Enjoy the World of Tanks experience exhibit
- Take a RIDE in a real military vehicle
The show-stopping finale to the day is the tank and military demonstration in the Tank Arena and the live simulated tank battle between two Cold War main battle tanks.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12 and seniors. Military/veteran/cadets are free.
