Fire breaks out at a home in Oshawa

A fire broke out at a home in south Oshawa Thursday evening.

The structure fire broke out on Noel Court, near Stevenson Road South and Phillip Murray Avenue, Oshawa Fire Services said in a tweet around 9:30 p.m. yesterday (July 13).

Offensive operations were underway and the fire service asked people to stay clear of the area.

By around 10 a.m., the fire was out and operations were winding down.

“Quick work by all crews on scene,” Oshawa Fire said.

There were no reports of injuries.

Oshawa Fire Services couldn’t immediately be reached for further information.
