Fitness facilities at these recreation centres to temporarily close in Oshawa

Residents in and around Oshawa who enjoy fitness at local recreation centres are being advised of some upcoming closures.

The Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre, and South Oshawa Community Centre will not be accessible on certain dates in August and September due to scheduled maintenance.

According to Oshawa.ca, the following centres will be temporarily closed:

• The Civic Fitness Centre will be closed from August 21 to 22 and is set to reopen on August 23.
• The South Oshawa Fitness Centre and Studio will be closed from September 3 to 4 and will resume operations on September 5.
• The Delpark Fitness Centre, Studio, and Walking Track will be closed from September 5 to 6, with a reopening scheduled for September 7

Residents’ patience and cooperation are appreciated during this period of facility maintenance and improvement, the City noted on its website.
