Four teens, aged 13 to 18, charged in Oshawa LCBO robbery

Four teenagers face charges after a robbery at an LCBO in Oshawa last weekend.

The quartet entered the store shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday and allegedly stole several bottles of booze. They then fled the scene, police say. However, officers tracked them down with help from the K-9 Unit.

They arrested the four. One allegedly carried a replica pistol.

The arrested parties include:

• Hailey Newland, 18 of Ajax, is charged with robbery and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
• Preston Hindman, 18 of Oshawa, is charged with robbery.
• A 13-year-old boy from Ajax is charged with robbery.
• A 13-year-old boy from Whitby is charged with robbery.
