Freestyle motocross flying into Oshawa’s Tribute Centre

Some of the biggest names in the adrenaline-pumping sport of freestyle motocross (FMX) will be taking to the air inside the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa in February for FMX All-Stars Live.
FMX is a variation on the sport of motocross where motorcycle riders attempt to impress judges with jumps and stunts so this is no ordinary show — it’s a competition featuring some of Canada’s most electrifying freestyle motocross riders pushing their limits with tricks to amaze the crowd.
From heart-pounding old-school stunts to jaw-dropping new-school moves, the action keeps building throughout the event with the audience ultimately deciding who takes home the Freestyle Champion crown.
Kids can join the fun as well by bringing a helmet and their charged-up Powerwheel to the show for the Kids Powerwheel races. Arrive early and head to the arena floor to sign them up before the event begins.
Also happening before the main event is the Pre-show Pit Party, allowing fans (for an extra $10) to head down to the arena floor to explore the track up close, check out the bikes and gear and meet the riders for photos and autographs.
The FMX All-Stars:
- Steel Cutter: The reigning champion is back! Hailing from Thetford Mines, Quebec, the five-time FMX World Tour Champion is famous for his backflip superman and love for bike mods.
- Spensor Holmes: A rising star from Cumberland, Ontario, Holmes has been riding since he was six years old. At just 25, he’s already carving out his legacy with his unique style on the track.
- LP Chabot: Known for his fearless drive and a decade of FMX experience, this Quebec rider thrives on the energy of the crowd. With a flair for the dramatic, Chabot is noted for his jaw-dropping stunts.
- Curtis Williams: The owner of Throttle Acres in Springfield, Ontario, Williams combines 17 years of freestyle expertise with his favorite tricks, like the over-the-handlebars stailfish.
FMX All-Stars Live is happening February 22, with tickets (available at tributecommunitiescentre.com) now on sale.
