Frost warning tonight from Uxbridge to Beaverton

North Durham is under a frost warning tonight as temperatures may drop close to the freezing mark in Uxbridge, Scugog and Brock townships.

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas and Environment Canada is issuing an alert as temperatures are expected to fall to near the freezing mark overnight into early Friday morning.

The federal agency suggests covering up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas and taking preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
