Fugitive convicted of weapon offences known to frequent Oshawa, Toronto

A fugitive convicted of multiple weapons offences may be in Oshawa.
According to the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement, or ROPE, Squad, convict Kimo David, 30, is illegally at large after breaching his release conditions.
David is serving a four-year and nine-month sentence for the following offences:
- possession of a firearm
- possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose
- unauthorized possession of a weapon in a car
- failure to comply with conditions of recognizance
- failure to comply with probation, and
- possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order
He had been recently released under strict conditions to serve the rest of his sentence in the community. This “statutory release” is automatically granted to some with a fixed-term sentence after serving two-thirds of their time.
The ROPE Squad described David as a Black man standing five-foot-ten and weighing around 196 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and two noticeable scars; one on his forehead and one on his right hand.
David also has several tattoos including:
- a cross on his forehead
- “RIP” on his right hand
- “Mind over Matter” on his right wrist
- “Life’s a Gamble” on his left wrist
- dice and flames on his right wrist
David is known to frequent Oshawa and Toronto as well as Saskatoon, and Saskatchewan.
