One of three GO buses converted into mobile vaccine clinics is headed to the Uxbridge Arena tomorrow to provide vaccines – first, second or booster doses, as well as the paediatric Pfizer vaccine for children aged 5-11.

The Ontario government has partnered with Metrolinx to provide a safe, reliable and convenient option for people to receive their COVID-19 vaccine and are taking the clinics on the road to wherever they are needed, from malls, community hubs and arenas to events and festivals.

Each bus operates as a fully functioning vaccine clinic with the necessary supplies and trained staff to provide assistance to people and ensure vaccines are administered safely. All COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed on board, including the required pre-vaccination screening and post-vaccination monitoring.

The GO-VAXX bus will be at the Uxbridge Arena from nine am to three pm December 24.
