Dog gone; he got him.

K9 Flex teamed up with PC Adam Handscomb and Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Central West Division officers to help track down a suspect in Whitby on Monday.

Officers enlisted Flex and his handler PC Handscomb to help track down the man who was wanted for breaching his conditions.

After a difficult time tracking the wanted suspect for some two hours and with K9 Flex closing in, an ‘alert’ perimeter officer spotted the fleeing man and arrested him.

“Great teamwork by all involved,” said the DRPS in a tweet on the social media platform X.
