Savory grilled chicken tender bowls brimming with fresh ingredients and a commitment to sustainability and the environment is the hallmark of Poulet Rouge, now in the Oshawa Centre.
The Quebec-based restaurant chain offers Canadian Halal chicken tenders, whole grains and 16 topping options in a build-a-bowl format that is both tasty and healthy and, thanks to 100 per cent compostable packaging and careful selection of like-minded vendors, environmentally conscious as well.
Poulet Rouge began in 2012 when two ambitious young friends launched a small restaurant in a Joliette, Quebec shopping mall. Two years later the company made a 180-degree shift and reviewed its brand image by simplifying its menu to focus on its tender grilled chicken fillets, marinated in a family recipe.
Using only fresh, first-rate ingredients, Poulet Rouge makes sure each meal is nutritious, flavourful and of the highest quality.
“We believe we can change the world by changing how we eat. That includes the ingredients in our food, the packaging it comes in, and the way we treat the people who produce it.”
Poulet Rouge has locations in Mississauga, Toronto and Ottawa (3) and more than two dozen in Quebec, with most in the Montreal and Quebec City areas.
The Oshawa Centre location is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
