Health worker charged with giving forged police check in Ajax

A healthcare worker has been charged with allegedly providing a prospective employer with a fabricated police criminal record check.

Naomi Ibama, 20 of Ajax, is believed to have submitted a fake record check to attain a position as a personal support worker, Durham Police said.

Investigators reviewed the document and later claimed it had been altered. Police allege the document was altered and did not represent an authentic police document.

Ibama is charged with uttering a forged document. She’s since been released with conditions.
