UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at high school east of Oshawa; no active shooter found

Durham Police have finished their investigation at Courtice High School and have lifted the lockdown measures.
“At no time was there an active shooter, or injured persons. Police units will be clearing the area shortly.”

Police are investigating and are advising motorists to avoid the area of Nash Road and Courtice Road. Police are also trying to quell rumors circulating on several social media posts about the incident. “At this time we can confirm there was no active shooter.”
