Hold and secure put in place (and quickly lifted) for west Whitby schools after break-in

A Hold and Secure was put in place in schools near Dundas Street and White Oaks Court in Whitby after an armed suspect was involved in a pharmacy break-in this morning.
The suspect was located by Durham Regional Police West Division officers and arrested around 9:30 am. The Hold and Secure was lifted within minutes.
The investigation is continuing.
