Shoppers in Oshawa are going to be able to peruse the offerings at a well-known thrift store later this month.
Talize, a store known for selling second-hand clothing and household goods, recently announced that it will officially open its new store in the Kingsway Village Shopping Centre (1300 King St. E.) on April 25.
The brand, established in 2005, says it’s a for-profit thrift company that offers a variety of gently used goods, including apparel, accessories, books, toys and electronics. On its website, it also says it champions eco-conscious practices.
“At Talize, we’re committed to providing you with an unforgettable shopping experience. Our Oshawa store will be brimming with one-of-a-kind items, and our friendly staff will be on hand to help you uncover your next unique find,” the brand said on its website.
“We believe in ensuring every customer leaves with a smile and a special addition to their home or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.”
On its website, the company says it’s diverted millions of items from landfills.
Over the course of the opening week (April 25-May 1), the store will offer 50 per cent off cards for the first 50 customers of the day, free reusable bags, loot bags for kids and other perks.
Taliza operates multiple locations in the GTA, with stores also located in Mississauga, Brampton and Whitby.
