Hannover Messe trade show

Canadian innovation will be on full display at Hannover Messe 2025 in Germany and companies interested in promoting their services – and Durham Region – can learn more about one of the world’s largest industrial technology trade shows at an information session this month at Ontario Tech University.

Canada is taking centre stage in Hannover as the partner country for the show, which will take place from March 31 to April 4.

The information session at Ontario Tech will be September 20 at 8:30 a.m. at the university’s ACE Climatic Wind Tunnel, with insights available for export-ready businesses interested on being part of Team Canada (and Team Durham) on the world stage.

Hannover Messe was launched in 1947 to showcase Germany’s post-war industrial transformation and quickly grew to a major international trade fair. U.S. President Barrack Obama attended the 2016 show.

Last year’s trade fair attracted 130,000 visitors and more than 4,000 exhibitors.
