Just 15 cancelled school bus routes Monday; mostly in Whitby and Oshawa

School bus cancellations are minimal in Durham Region today (June 12), with just 15 cancelled routes, including seven in Whitby and six in Oshawa.

There are zero cancellations in Clarington, which has felt the brunt of the driver shortage issues that bus operators have faced all year.

Schools affected by route cancellations include Julie Payette, St. Matthew the Evangelist, Robert Munsch and Fallingbrook (AM only) in Whitby; Forest View, St. Joseph and Jeanne Sauve in Oshawa; and SA Cawker in Port Perry.
