Who wouldn’t want to see Our Lady Peace, the Harlem Globetrotters and all the Oshawa Generals games you can handle? For free?

Those are the prizes available, plus a whole lot more, in the twelfth annual ‘Key to the TCC’ contest, which awards two tickets to every event in 2025 at the Tribute Communities Centre to the grand prize winner.

The contest, originally called the Key to the GMC, began in 2010 and has evolved into a corporate initiative with more than 20 other venues managed by Oak View Management participating in the Big Ticket Giveaway.

Last year’s winner certainly got a kick out of the prize. “Seeing Lainey Wilson was awesome,” enthused Cathy Sciuk. “I am still looking forward to seeing more Generals games and also seeing Blue Rodeo.”

Other past winners have enjoyed shows such as Bryan Adams, Dierks Bentley, WWE Live, Jerry Seinfeld and more. “You’ll never wipe this grin off my face,” David Sobanski said after learning he won the 2019 Key to the TCC Contest.

“Winning the Key to the GMC was truly amazing and also a real eye opener,” said Bob Parr, the winner of the 2011 contest. “At the time, I had no idea what a great facility it was for every type of event.”

Each winner has been genuinely surprised by the call, said William Balfour, Oak View Group’s Assistant General Manager and the Director of Marketing & Sales at the Tribute Communities Centre. “We’re confident that this year will be no exception.”

The Key to the TCC contest is presented by KX96, 94.9 The Rock, and CKDO Radio and will run until Saturday, December 15 at midnight. Fans can enter now at tributecommunitiescentre.com/key along with the full contest rules and regulations.
