Knife wielding suspect charged after road rage incident in Ajax

A male perpetrator is facing charges after brandishing a knife during a road rage incident in Ajax.
According to Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS), the incident occurred this past Friday, Oct. 25 around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Rossland Road West and Harwood Avenue North.
At the time of the incident, police received a call about an armed person involved in an altercation surrounding an alleged illegal parking scenario.
The suspect allegedly threatened a victim with a knife — after which — police arrived on the scene and promptly located the suspect, who was taken into custody without further incident.

According to the police, the victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
At the time of publication, 32-year-old Carl Nelson from Ajax has been charged with Uttering Threats and Assault with a Weapon.
He was released via an Undertaking, as he promised to appear in a later court date.
