Campaign signs on Bowmanville Avenue for Jonathan Giancroce, the Liberal taking on Conservative leader Erin O’Toole in Durham Riding, have been discovered vandalized.
Giancroce, who is challenging O’Toole for the second time, said it was “disheartening” to see the signs defaced, with the words ‘Covid Zazi’ (sic) scrawled on them in marker.
“These acts have no place in Durham. I call on my fellow Durham candidates to stand up for the health/safety of our children and our vulnerable community members by encouraging everyone to get vaccinated.”
