Loaded firearm seized in Ajax drug trafficking investigation, Toronto man charged

An investigation into drug trafficking in Ajax has led to charges for a Toronto man and cocaine and a firearm seized.
Police searched two homes in Toronto in connection to an Ajax drug trafficking investigation on June 6, Durham Regional Police said in a press release today (June 9).
Two search warrants included a vehicle and a home in Toronto.
Police seized cocaine, a loaded firearm and ammunition. In addition, an undisclosed amount of cash was also seized.
Kevin Sekora, 32, of Toronto, faces six charges including unauthorized possession of a restricted/prohibited firearm, possession of a loaded restricted/prohibited firearm and drug possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine).
Sekora was held for a bail hearing.
