Whitby ticket worth nearly $1 million sold Tuesday

This Friday’s LOTTO MAX draw may be on April Fool’s Day, but it’s no joke that LOTTO MAX is offering a whopping $70 million jackpot plus an estimated 39 $1 million MAXMILLIONS.  That’s $109 million in top prizing available to be won on Friday.

While the jackpot was not won last night, there were some big prizes won across Ontario:

• OneLOTTO MAX second prize-winning ticket worth $921,610.50 was sold in Whitby.
• Two MAXMILLIONS prize winning tickets each worth$1 million were sold in Richmond Hill and in the Waterloo region.
• One MAXMILLIONSprize winning ticket worth $333,333.40 was sold in Toronto. (Shared with two other tickets sold in Canada)
• Two ENCORE prizes worth $100,000 each were won with tickets sold in Kawartha Lakes County and Scarborough.

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won more than $6.8 billion since 2009, including 91 jackpot wins and 727 MAXMILLIONS prizes. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Customers can buy their tickets for Friday’s draw at OLG.ca or at authorized OLG retailers until 10:30 p.m. that evening.
