MADD joins DRPS for St. Patrick’s RIDE program in Durham

Durham Police were out in full force St. Patrick’s Day, stopping 600 drivers and charging 13 drivers with various offences, including two for impaired driving.
Two in 600 may not seem much but it’s still two too many and DRPS is reminding drivers to drive sober or get pulled over. “Impaired riving shatters families.”
Members of MADD Durham Region were on hand with police at some of the RIDE locations to help ensure people were enjoying their St. Patrick’s Day responsibly.
