Man in serious condition after afternoon stabbing incident in Ajax

A man has been taken to a nearby Ajax hospital in serious condition after a stabbing Thursday afternoon (July 11) in Ajax.

The incident occurred in the area of Burcher Road and Bayly St. East shortly after 2 p.m.

Durham Regional Police are on the scene investigating.

“One male was transported to hospital in serious condition,” said police.

Information on possible arrests and other victims was not provided.
