Man stabbed, suspect reportedly Tasered by police in Oshawa

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Oshawa last night.
Durham Regional Police responded to reports of a stabbing around 6 p.m. at the corner of Centre Street South and Bagot Street.
A victim was located with stab wounds to the abdomen and was taken to a Toronto trauma centre for treatment. Details about the severity of his injuries and his current condition are unknown.
Authorities have not released further details about the victim’s identity, including his name, age, and place of residence.
Officials have not indicated if the victim and suspect were known to each other and if this incident was targeted.
According to a user named colinwxchaser, who posted images of the aftermath of the stabbing on X (formerly Twitter), mentions that the suspect was reportedly tasered by police. Officers have yet to confirm this information.
One of the photos appears to show a man handcuffed with a police officer on either side of him.
Police have not released the suspect’s name, age, place of residence, or photo to the public.
