GO Bus

As summer winds down GO Transit is returning service to post-secondary institutions in Oshawa and area, including some new express options, additional trips on select routes and schedule changes to get students to and from classes quicker.

This means more trips on routes like 56 (which includes service to Durham College, Ontario Tech University and Trent Durham) and 88 (Trent).

Metrolinx is also adding more bus trips on some routes during busy periods to give customers more options, such as expanded service on Route 96 (Oshawa/Finch) from Monday through Thursday.

Schedule adjustments on other routes will mean customers will depart up to 10 minutes earlier or later. On Route 52 (Oshawa/Vaughan), all weekend eastbound trips will depart 25 minutes earlier.

Metrolinx is also reminding riders that special summer service to Canada’s Wonderland and Toronto Zoo will soon end for the season. The last day of service to these locations will be August 25.
