GO Train users will have to make some “adjustments” this weekend as well as two weekends later as Metrolinx will be tweaking the schedules on the Lakeshore East line due to construction and maintenance along the Lakeshore West corridor.

Eastbound and westbound trips on October 15-16 and October 29-30 from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. will operate on a different schedule.

Metrolinx is asking riders to plan your trip before you leave to ensure you catch your train or bus connections. Connection times between Lakeshore West and East trains will be longer. Trains will hold at Union Station for about 31 minutes.

Lakeshore West trains are running hourly between Union Station and West Harbour.
