There is concern for the well-being of a 30-year-old woman who has not been heard from in nearly three weeks.

The Durham Regional Police Service says that Jennessa Bergie was last seen in Oshawa near 605 Bloor St. W. on March 6. She was reported missing on Thursday (March 24). The police say that Bergie has not communicated with family and friends, with whom she maintains regular contact.

“There was information that she may have been spotted in Whitby or Oshawa this week,” a DRPS release stated on Friday.

Bergie is described as a white woman who is five-foot-three with a thin build, brown eyes and brown hair. No clothing descriptors were available.

Anyone who knows the location of this missing person should contact their local police service. In Durham Region, please contact Det. Ormonde of the Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520, ext.1827.
