A 24 year-old Mississauga woman is facing impaired driving charges after her “erratic driving” in what turned out to be a stolen car got her pulled over by police in Oshawa Saturday morning.

Durham Police say they received a report of someone “driving erratically” in the Stevenson Road and Bloor Street area around 11 a.m. Officers found the vehicle near Adelaide Street and Arena Street and were able to pull the driver over.

The woman was showing “obvious signs of impairment,” police said, and further investigation also showed the vehicle she was driving as stolen.

She was charged with Impaired Operation, Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and Possession of an Illicit Substance.
