Mobile phone store in Courtice robbed in early morning heist

A brazen early morning robbery at a Rogers store in Courtice has police on the hunt for four suspects who fled the scene in a white cargo van.

Durham Police responded to a break-and-enter call at the cell phone store on Highway 2 at 5:15 a.m. on Sunday. Police are reporting that the four suspects – all described as white, 25-35 years old and wearing dark facemasks and dark clothing – had smashed the glass entry door of the store and loaded electronics and phones into a new model white cargo van.

The men left before police arrived.
