The Region of Durham has posted a new video detailing how the region’s apples travel from orchards to kitchens throughout Ontario.
In a post to X (formerly Twitter), regional representatives posted a teaser video for the “Farm to Plate: Journey of the Durham Region Apple” series.
Various stages of apple farming and distribution are briefly showcased in the post, including harvesting, sorting, packaging, and distribution.
Details surrounding this series can be traced back to an Invest Durham incentive launched this past August, highlighting aspects of Durham Region’s thriving agricultural sector.
Specifically, in this case, apple farming.
