There will be no GO Train service to or from Oshawa or anywhere in Durham this weekend as Metrolinx performs scheduled maintenance and upgrades to the system.

GO Train service on the Lakeshore East line will end at 10 p.m. tonight and train service will resume Monday morning, though there will be no service to Union Station all day Monday, with train service only going as far as Danforth Station that day.

Lakeshore East train service will run only between Oshawa and Danforth stations on a 30-minute schedule Monday. Use TTC services to travel between Union Station and Danforth GO to connect to/from the GO train.

This weekend buses will replace train service in Durham Region, with no train or bus service at all at the Toronto stations of Rouge Hill, Guildwood, Eglinton, Scarborough, and Danforth GO.

Bus connections for Route 88 (Peterborough/Oshawa) will also be impacted.

You may need to leave earlier than you normally would to make all your connections so check your schedules before you travel.
