One charged after three kids aged 12-14 robbed in Whitby park, police search for second suspect

Three boys had their afternoon in a Whitby park threateningly interrupted when they were approached by two men who demanded their phones. Later investigation snared a suspect, but police remain on the lookout for another.
The lads, aged 12-14, were fishing in Pringle Creek Park, near Manning Rd and Garden St around 2 p.m. April 18. They were approached by two men, who proceeded to demand their phones and threaten the boys.
Once the boys handed over their phones, the two men hopped into a car and sped away from the scene. Police combed the area with help from the public.
During their search investigators arrested one man they believe responsible for the robbery. Officer continue to search for a second suspect.
Colton Cervoni, 19 of Whitby, was charged with three counts of robbery. He was released from custody with conditions.
