One man in critical condition following overnight shooting in Pickering

An overnight shooting on Friday in Pickering sends one man to the hospital with critical injuries.

Durham Regional Police responded to a call of shots fired near Altona Rd / Kingston Rd in Pickering.

Upon arrival, police located a man suffering critical injuries, who has since been sent to a hospital for treatment.

Officers believe the incident to be an isolated occurrence.

The investigations are ongoing and police say they will provide more information at a later time.
