One wanted in cannabis store robbery in Pickering

A man is on the lam after robbing a cannabis dispensary in Pickering.

The suspect allegedly hit the shop near Liverpool Road and Krosno Boulevard. The area is largely residential though includes several businesses such as Syper Cannabis.

Police say the suspect pulled a gun on the woman working the store and assaulted her. She was not badly hurt. He allegedly stole numerous items and a large amount of cash before fleeing the area.

Investigators describe the man as an 18 to 25-year-old man standing about six-foot-two with a slim build. He wore a mask, a black hooded sweater, light-coloured pants, and black shoes.
