Ontario Shores patient missing from Whitby facility

A patient at the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is missing
Anthony, 53, was last seen on the afternoon of July 31 at the hospital at 700 Gordon Street, Durham Police said. Ontario Shores sits down by the Whitby Harbour, largely surrounded by parks and greenspace.
Police believe Anthony is on foot. He has ties to Whitby and Nova Scotia. They are concerned for Anthony’s well-being outside of the facility.
He’s described as a five-foot-four white man with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
Ontario Shores is a public hospital for those with complex mental illnesses.
