One Oshawa neighbourhood is in the province’s top 50 for highest COVID-19 positivity this week.

ICES also says case counts reported since December 31, 2021 represent an underestimate of the true number of individuals with COVID-19, due to changes in eligibility for SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing.
For the week of Jan. 16 to 22, Durham had the 14th highest COVID-19 positivity out of Ontario’s 34 public health units (PHUs), reporting 19.61% positivity.
The province overall is listed 18th at 18.41% positivity.
