Oshawa convenience store robbery has Durham police after suspect

Durham Regional Police are investigating a convenience store robbery in Oshawa and looking for the suspect involved.

Officers were called to the Circle K convenience on Simcoe Street North around 7:15m on February 19 after reports of a robbery.

The suspect entered the store and got into an argument with the clerk and a customer. Once the customer left the store, the suspect shoved the clerk and stole lottery tickets before fleeing the scene in a black SUV.

The clerk was unharmed in the robbery. Police searched the area after their arrival, but found nothing.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man in his mid 40s. He was wearing a red baseball hat and a black coat.
