Oshawa driver in Scugog crash dies

The 39-year-old Oshawa man involved in a car crash in Scugog on Sunday has died, the OPP Highway Safety Division confirmed.
The man was driving on Highway 12 the morning of March 13 when he rear-ended a vehicle in front of him. His car crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a pickup truck.
The Oshawa man was rushed to hospital in critical condition, later succumbing to his injuries. The two occupants of the pickup, 36 and 9 years old, were uninjured.
The OPP announced the man’s death via social media shortly before 10 p.m. March 14. “Deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time,” read the OPP statement.
