An Oshawa man is up on impaired charges after he was found to have four times the legal alcohol limit in his bloodstream last Monday in Bowmanville.
Durham Police responded to numerous calls from the public about the driver, who was located and subsequently arrested near Mearns Road and Concession St. E in the east part of town.
The 35 year-old man blew 320 mg and 300 mg (per 100 ml of blood) in his two tests, police say. He was released on a promise to appear but has his vehicle impounded and his license suspended.
